Travel lanes
Carts, tuggers and steel wheels run the same paths all day. Thin coatings wear through there first.
Dropped parts, carts, steel wheels and cutting fluids. Thin coatings chip in the travel lanes first, so we build thickness where the floor takes the hits.
Where it fails
We walk the floor with the people who run it, because the failure points follow the process.
Carts, tuggers and steel wheels run the same paths all day. Thin coatings wear through there first.
Dropped parts and tools chip thin films. About 1/8" of quartz or slurry takes the hit instead.
Sparks and hot slag mark any floor. A thick quartz system hides and resists it far better than a thin coat.
Cutting fluids, coolants and solvents break down the wrong coating. Send us the chemical list and we match the system.
The system
A plant floor rarely needs one system wall to wall. We put the heavy build in the lanes and impact zones and keep the rest efficient.
How it runs
Downtime costs more than the floor. The schedule is part of the bid, not an afterthought.
We map traffic, wheel types, drop zones and chemical areas with your team, and moisture-test the slab.
We sequence the floor around production: shutdown weeks, weekends, or one zone at a time.
Shot-blasting or diamond grinding to CSP 2–3 with HEPA dust collection, under OSHA’s silica rule.
Slurry or quartz broadcast in the lanes, standard system elsewhere, then striping. Every stage logged.
We walk each zone with you and hand over the install log, photos and return-to-service times.

FAQ

It depends on what hits the floor. Lanes with steel wheels and drop zones need the heavy build. Assembly and packing areas usually don’t. We’ll mark it zone by zone at the walkthrough.
Yes. We install during shutdowns, on weekends, or one zone at a time, and the schedule goes in the bid.
Send us your chemical list or safety data sheets. We match the system to them, and use novolac where stronger chemicals are stored.
Yes. Walkways, forklift lanes, work cells and keep-clear zones go on the bid as their own line.
